Today's hour at the easel

Painted for a while and then I had to scrape it off.

Painted for a while longer, then I had to paint over it so I can sleep tonight. Tomorrow is another day, another hour at the easel. I am posting these so you will know that (if this has happened to you) this stuff happens to me too.

  1. Thank you for posting this....all of the Pro's I receive blog posts from always post beautiful paintings. All of them look like they were effortless to do. This is REAL. I have a different tool for scraping down, its a 3" color shaper. Sometimes the remaining image after using the scraper is really cool and easier to recreate a better painting. Thank for sharing! 1. Hi Charlene, Thanks for commenting this. I feel the same way. Surely every painter has days like this? Barbara
