another summer's end painting

Another scene from Mt. Vernon, Washington reference photos taken in September. This one is called "Queen Anne's Lace" for the white flowers along the path.

    Oh, don't you just love the Mt. Vernon area? (And Dakota Art Pastels company located there?)I had the good fortune to take a workshop there during the Tulip Festival. No matter what the season, the scenery in Skagit Valley is tops.
