You amaze me constantly, Barbara, with your skills as an artist! Your insights into color and how to change it to have more impact on what it is you wish to convey is such a gift. I find it difficult to see beyond the literal - and what you do with color to amp it up is just amazing!
Thank you Carol. When I get really stuck, I open my reference photo in Photoshop Elements and just slide the color bars around to see crazy color. This gives me ideas of how I might push the color a little further than nature did - or, maybe we just don't usually see all the color around us?
