a little SALT needed

A Good Morning in progress. I think it needs SALT. This stage of painting is exciting to me and I want to hold that feeling. A few more thoughts on that here.

    Hi Barbara, I've been enjoying watching your progress with oils. Your underpaintings are beautiful on their own! Do you have to let them dry completely before you add color?

    Hi Donna, Well, some parts yes, some parts no. I would like the light areas to stay wet so I could continue to lift off color and I'd like the dark areas to dry so I don't drag that color around. I'm learning. I am most excited about the underpaintings too. I think I need to set up TWO still life scenes so I can STOP when I should but still have another to go on to.
